Graduate Credit Options / 2016-2017 School Year

As always, we offer graduate credit for some of the training we offer throughout the year. In the past, we’ve offered credit through Lake Erie College for the Kenston Digital Academy, and we plan on continuing that this year. We have also added a few other opportunities. Read on to learn more about what’s on deck for this year.

Google Teacher Academy (2 hrs)

The Google Teacher Academy at Kenston Schools aims to guide educators in the intermediate school and middle school through the curriculum leading towards the Google Level 1 Certified Educator Exam.

iPad Academy @ KHS (1 hr)

The iPad Teacher Academy at Kenston aims to guide educators in the high school through training modules pertaining to the use of an iPad with instruction.

Kenston Digital Academy 2.0 (1 hr)

The KDA 2.0 Course at Kenston Local Schools is specifically designed with the long term in mind, and continues to refine, sculpt, and perfect what started in KDA 1.0. Each participant will undertake guided individual study and research in classroom best practices as it relates to the use of technology with instruction, and begin adopting major changes in classroom routine, educational practices, and project design – all supported by technology.

KDA 2.0 is only open to KDA 1.0 graduates. Please contact Andreas Johansson for more details, and enrollment links. You can enroll multiple times.
